About the Author
Long before The Food Lady became a book, it was a nickname. Ann’s husband, Tom, began calling her “the Food Lady” after joking that the neighborhood deer always seemed to know where to find her. Those real backyard visitors eventually became the inspiration for an entire world of stories.
